I’m still working on links and images for you from today’s video on the girls’ Christmas trees, which I will have posted by the end of the day. But for now, I’d like to take a moment to share information about a non-profit organization that is very near and dear to my heart, A Kids Place of Tampa Bay.
A Kid’s Place provides residential services to children from birth to age 18, who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Their primary focus is to keep sibling groups together in a safe, stable, home-like environment until a more permanent placement can be provided.
My husband and I have been huge supporters of this facility since they first opened their doors. The thought of a child being removed from their home is already heartbreaking, but then to be separated from their siblings too…the thought hurts my spirit. A Kid’s Place is the only foster home in the greater Tampa Bay area that will not divide siblings. They stay TOGETHER during their entire stay at A Kid’s Place.
