“Tis the season of giving! So I’d like to share the gifts we shared with our friends over at A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay. A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay is our local charity of choice. They are a foster home in the Tampa Bay Area. But what makes them so unique is that they won’t separate siblings who’ve been removed from their homes.

This year, we partnered with Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart to sponsor bedding for one of the rooms at the foster home. There are multiple small houses locate on the property, kind of like a village. Each home has three bedrooms, with three girls (or boys) to a room. The girls in the sponsored room received new sheets, a new comforter set, new throw pillows and a soft, comfortable blanket. A special thank you to Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart for giving back in our community!

Another great idea is the gift of a Family Movie Night! I paired these lovely ceramic popcorn bowls in both large and small sizes, with a festive candle and a luxury sherpa blanket. These blankets are my favorite Better Homes & Gardens seasonal item, because they are large enough for my entire family to share while we enjoy a movie! They are also VERY soft, and come in a variety of festive colors. I added a classic Christmas movie, and a note to remember to cherish those special family moments.

Another great gift idea perfect for teachers, neighbors or coworkers in the office, is this black lantern. Not only are the styling options endless, but they are very affordable as well. I styled this one with a package of fairy lights, a flameless candle, a bag of artificial snow, and a $5 gift card for the teacher. You could also use these lanterns on your front porch, a mantel or incorporated into a tablescape!

And where are all of my wine lovers?! Check out this gorgeous serving platter with ceramic bowls…PERFECT for a wine night in! I paired the server with a jar of gourmet olives, nuts, and custom wine glasses. And don’t forget to add a great bottle of wine! I placed all of the items on this bamboo serving tray with brass handles, which would also make a lovely gift all on its own. You could also use the bamboo tray to create the perfect gift for a spa night. In fact, I did just that! I added a travel sized package of 100% pure essential oils from Better Homes & Gardens at Walmart, an essential oil organizer, an oil diffuser, candles and bath salts. There are so many ways to get creative when gifting a tray…these are only a few examples!
